What 🔖 means

A small, rectangular white bookmark with an embossed floral print in between and a metal-looped ribbon holder tied with a red ribbon or fish wire.

The 🔖 Bookmark emoji refers to the classic ways of bookmarking or 'saving' the 'drafts' of the previous completion. Apart from being a fantastic gift option for book worms and nerds, a bookmark could also signify reading, knowledge, continuation, and a way of pausing something.

How and when to use it

A bookmark seems to be the emoji version of the semicolon or the famous (;). It represents the act of pausing but coming back to it once free or ready. Similarly, you could make metaphorical uses of 🔖 too.
