Open Book Emoji 📖

A hardcover book lying open, pages visible on both sides, the open-book emoji marks reading and studying directly. It also borrows the English idiom: calling someone or something an "open book" means they're easy to read and hiding nothing.

What 📖 means

Most sets give it a blue cover, spine cracked flat — and the meaning stretches past the idiom, closer to open-mindedness generally: someone willing to actually hear you out, not just someone who happens to be easy to read.

How and when to use it

If you're sharing a picture of yourself or that of something you photographed, the caption for which goes along the lines of being an 'open book', you can use 📖 in it. Like, "Falling in love with an open book is simple 📖 All it needs is trust".
📖 can also be used to refer to something or someone who's easy to read. For example, "Oh, I don't think so. She's an open book, dude 📖".
