🪨
Stability and heavy, immovable weight are the core meaning, shown here as a plain grey boulder, steady friends included. It also doubles as stoner slang for being seriously high.
What 🪨 means
A rounded triangular grey stone that has a couple of small edges throughout the structure. The 🪨 Rock emoji represents a stone or any solid object made of any material; crystal, gravel, pebbles, etc.
How and when to use it
- If you're texting your buddy about how stoned you are, use 🪨. (beginning the list with some creative use cases 🙂).
- You can also use 🪨 to playfully rage at someone (the irony, I know). For instance, "Woman. You're crossing your line. I'mma stone you unto sleep 🪨 *here's a blunt*".
- While posting or reposting pictures of stones; the boring gravel, a fancy stone you found on the lane, a crystal stone, etc, you can use 🪨 in the caption.
- If you found something outrageous on social media, that you're now reposting or commenting on, or you're responding to a ridiculous thing someone sent you, you could use 🪨 as a way of showing that you're throwing rocks at them. Essentially, criticizing them.

How it looks across platforms
Seeing a blank box instead of the emoji somewhere? Here's why that happens. Curious why the designs above don't match to begin with? Here's why that happens too.
