π
What π means
A squared description of a city with rectangular buildings of varying lengths designed with a couple of lit windows, seemingly dark brown or maroon due to the time of the day, with a yellowish sky backdrop.
The π Cityscape at Dusk emoji represents the latter part of the day; evening and sunset. It signifies the end of the day, a time to wind up, relax (unless you're scheduled for a night shift), and the time to head out for that much-needed beer.
How and when to use it
- If you're texting someone about the time at which you would meet them for a drink or head out for anything else, you can use π. For instance, "I'll see you at 5:30 π" (it automatically implies that it's PM).
- π can be used to represent anything dusky in color; a painting, a dress, dusky skin, etc.
- Sunsets are the most beautiful time of the day. So, go crazy, upload those social media stories about the impeccable sunset in your city and drop the π emoji into it.
- While sharing pictures and/or videos of sunsets as social media posts or as direct messages (DMs), you could use π. However, there's one catch. The post ought to have a city skyline or a reference to the city.
- You could also use π while posting or reposting sunset painting posts as well; a video of the process and/or a picture of the masterpiece.
