2nd Place Medal Emoji 🥈

The same medal shape as 🏅 Sports Medal, cast in silver instead of gold, marking second place rather than the win. It's used for runner-up finishes and Olympic silver medals literally, and for the more self-deprecating so-close energy of missing first by just one spot.

What 🥈 means

A round, dark silver disk with an engraved '2' on it in a slightly lighter shade. The disk is further hung onto a strap that has blue, white, and red stripes.

The 🥈 Second Place Medal emoji represents the 1st runner up, in a sport or any competition. However, it could also signify silver, an opportunity to do better, and the zeal for gold.

How and when to use it

If you're indicating 'silver package' or 'silver tickets', anything to do with silver, per se, you could use 🥈 in the caption.
If you're ranking a particular product, movie, series, anything that you typically write reviews on, in the second place, then too, 🥈 would be appropriate.
