A white-blue-red triband carries Slovakia's national coat of arms, a white double cross rising from three blue hills, set toward the hoist. Those hills are usually read as the Tatra, Fatra, and Matra ranges, and the double cross traces back to the 9th-century missionaries Cyril and Methodius. Without that emblem, the plain triband would be easy to mix up with Slovenia's or Russia's.
What 🇸🇰 means
A horizontal triband same as the Slovenian triband, printed with the coat of arms a little to the left side from the center of the flag, touching upon all three stripes.
The 🇸🇰 Flag: Slovakia emoji refers to a Central European country; popularly known as Slovakia and formally addressed as the Slovak Republic. This emoji is shown as 'SK' on some platforms.
