Day to day it's peacetime blue-on-top, with a white triangle holding an eight-rayed sun for the provinces that rose against Spain and three stars for Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

The base of a short and white equilateral triangle fixed to the left border of a rectangular flag. It is designed with a yellow sun emitting eight large rays of groups of three rays each.
Each inner corner of the given white triangle is marked by a yellow five-pointed star. The rest of the flag is a horizontal dual-band of navy blue on top and red at the bottom.
