Diagonal bands are rare among flags, and Namibia runs with one anyway: a white-edged red stripe runs corner to corner, with a blue triangle and gold sun above it, green below. Blue stands for the sky and the Atlantic, green for the land's vegetation, red for the people's resilience. Adopted at independence in 1990, it's a distinct layout among world flags.
What 🇳🇦 means
A rectangular flag designed with a red stripe outlined in white, riding the top-right and bottom-left diagonal of a rectangular flag.
The northern portion of this stripe is navy blue with a small yellow sun on the topmost left corner and the southern side is green.
The 🇳🇦 Flag: Namibia emoji represents the South African republic of Namibia. It is bordered by 🇧🇼 Botswana on the east and 🇦🇴 Angola to the north.
Some platforms do not support the series of flag emojis, thus replacing the spot with the country code instead, which, in this case, is 'NA'.

Seeing a blank box instead of the emoji somewhere? Here's why that happens. Curious why the designs above don't match to begin with? Here's why that happens too.
