The phrase traces to the parable of workers hired at the last possible shift and still paid in full, and today it just means the last real chance before a deadline closes.
What 🕚 means
A round clock with a white dial, a grey frame, and a pair of hands of the same color. The short hand or the hour hand is held at 11 and the long hand or the minute hand is pointed towards 12.

How and when to use it
