Flag: Sri Lanka Emoji ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฐ

Sri Lankans call this one the Lion Flag, for the gold lion gripping a kastane sword at its center, standing for the bravery and sovereignty of the Sinhalese people. Green and saffron stripes near the hoist were added in 1951 to represent the island's Muslim and Tamil communities, and four bo leaves in the corners nod to Buddhist teachings. It became official in 1972.

What ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฐ means

A rectangular flag with a yellow border vertically divided with a yellow stripe in the middle. The left half consists of a green and an orange vertical stripe.

The right red portion is printed with the side profile of a yellow lion holding the Sri Lankan sword, decorated with yellow droplet-like structures at each corner.

The ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฐ Flag: Sri Lanka emoji represents the South Asian island country of Sri Lanka or the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. This emoji is shown as 'LK' on some platforms.
