ποΈ
What ποΈ means
A vertically rectangular box with rounded corners and a divider in between that has a slideable black horizontal bar on it. The division is further surrounded by short symmetrical lines on either side.
The ποΈ Level Slider emoji signifies adjustability especially when it comes to volume. Generally used in DJ-ing, mixing music, production and related professions, it represents manual manipulation of sound on the whole.
How and when to use it
- Apart from the obvious use-case in music, ποΈ could be used to suggest volume in other contexts too. Like, "They said I was 'loud' so I did what any sane person would do. I got louder ποΈ" or "Turn up the volume within and ignore the noise around ποΈ".
- You could also use ποΈ by basing the usage on its 'adjustability' feature. For instance, "Could you please tone it down a little? ποΈ I'm starting to get uncomfortable".
- Use ποΈ to indicate a 'gradual' rise or fall in anything too. For example, "It's just the first date. Gradually show her what you're made of ποΈ. Gradually. Don't creep her out".
- While sharing content on audio mixing; an educative post, a repost on a DJ workshop, a picture with the caption about mixing, etc, ensure to drag in this little guy ποΈ.
